Case Study: Construction

Temperature Control For Schools & Universities

Air Conditioner Rentals In Connecticut

Since summers in the Midwest are hot and humid, it was no surprise that when construction on a new building began at Iowa University, the construction contractor ran into climate-related delays. High temperatures and humidity inside the building created problems with concrete curing, drywall mudding, and painting. With vast expertise in solving humidity, cooling, and moisture-related challenges, our industry experts were soon called to deliver a temporary climate control solution.

Our team deployed desiccant dehumidifiers and air conditioning units to resolve the moisture and temperature challenges impacting construction. Affected areas in the building were sectioned off, allowing us to work efficiently and effectively to minimize power requirements and focus on dehumidifying and cooling the problem areas. With our rental equipment in place, we could lower the humidity in each area and bring moisture levels to within product specifications in just three months.
